How to use FlowBridge alerts

FlowBridge alerts is a powerful feature allowing you to get instant notifications on your business communications platform about specific events in your voice flow build. Below is a video about the feature itself but what can it be used for?

Use it for:

• Getting instant alerts about a failed step in your Voiceflow build to quickly resolve issues for your clients
• Get notified about a new person hitting a certain part of your build (for example lead captured)
• Anything you can think of that requires you to get notified about a certain part of your build

Important note: The function will not work if using the Run in the designer. It requires testing through either one of the social channels, or the FlowBridge webchat

How to use it

You need 2 things to make this work

1. You will need to download the custom function below and import it to your Voiceflow build

   2. Alternatively, download it at the bottom of this page
2. You will need to generate a webhook for one of the supported platforms (Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams)

3. Drag the custom function in to your build and set up the 'message' variable with the message that you want.
